The entrance is located in Desert Resort. Wild Pokemon can be found by walking anywhere inside, just like a Cave or any other Dungeon. If you run into them, you'll get dragged in and fall to the floor underneath.

Walking in the trap is fine, just as long as you don't walk in the direct center of the trap. The first visit will be a very short one. If you fall through one of the sand traps, you'll have to face a trainer in the basement to reach the stairs up to the first floor. From the first floor, walk to the left passed the sand trap.

A trainer can be found right before the staircase. The Relic Castle, although accessible early in the game, cannot be fully explored until after entering the Hall of Fame. Five floors deep, only the first and second floors can initially be entered: a Worker explains that the lower floors are covered in sand and are impassable until he has cleaned up a bit. The first floor is hazardous, with two patches of quicksand which may suck passersby into the second chamber.

A nearby scientist explains that if players walk over the middle of the quicksand, or run anywhere near it, they will fall through the floor.

However, walking slowly anywhere besides the middle of the quicksand is safe. Behind the furthest patch of quicksand is a Backpacker who has found two rare Fossils.

Against Trubbish, use Golett. The first grunt here has an L35 Watchog and Scraggy. The next one has an L35 Trubbish and Liepard. Drop down the sand pit to proceed. Alder is on the lowest floor of Relic Castle. When you get to B5F you will see Alder and Ghetsis. Cheren will drop in after you.

After Ghetsis pushes past you, you and Alder and Cheren leave the castle. Then Professor Juniper will give you a call and ask you to come to Nacrene City. Go to the Nacrene Gym. Alder, the two Professor Junipers, and Bianca are there. After some dialog, Lenora will step out.
